Pricing

Two fees, published in full

No subscription, no setup cost, no per-delegate licence. We are paid out of the event after it runs — which means our fees only make sense if you can see exactly how they are calculated. So here they are.

Per ticket

Holding fee

1020%

A percentage of each ticket price, reserved at the moment the delegate pays. Your rate is set per event before publication, based on event size, and does not change once the event is live.

  • Disclosed to the delegate at checkout as a booking fee
  • Reserved at payment, not at settlement
  • Non-refundable in every scenario, including cancellation
On profit only

Admin fee

12.525%

A share of operating profit — what remains after card fees, holding fees and every supplier invoice. Calculated once, at settlement.

  • Never charged against gross revenue
  • Zero when operating profit is zero or negative
  • Rate fixed before publication, alongside the holding fee
Per event

Minimum fee floor

R 6,500 R 12,500

The least the platform earns from running an event, set per event by size. If your accumulated holding fees clear the floor, the floor never comes up.

  • Cleared automatically on most events of any scale
  • Any shortfall is deducted from settlement, not invoiced separately
  • Your floor is stated in writing before you publish

Worked examples

The same event, three ways it can end

Most fee pages show you the good case. All three are below, because the two where you earn nothing are the ones you need before you commit to a venue.

Settled to your bank account after the event

The platform earned R 38,787 across both fees. Because the holding fees exceeded the R 7,500 floor, nothing further was owed.

Third-party costs

The card fees are not ours, and not hidden

Delegate payments are processed by Paystack, a licensed South African payment provider. Their fee is deducted per transaction before anything reaches the platform. We pass it through at cost — there is no mark-up — and it appears as its own line on your settlement statement.

What we never charge for

  • Creating an account or building your event site
  • Monthly or annual subscription of any kind
  • Additional tabs, custom fields or extra fee categories
  • Certificates, invitation letters or bulk document generation
  • Support during your event
  • A share of any event that does not turn a profit

The uncomfortable part

Where the risk actually sits

The platform retains its holding fee whether or not the event succeeds, and you carry the supplier commitments. That is a real asymmetry. It is stated here, in the Terms of Service you accept at signup, in a click-through before you publish each event, and at the foot of every settlement statement.

If a delegate cancels

They are refunded the ticket price less the holding fee and less the Paystack fee. The delegate carries the full cost of their own refund — neither you nor the platform is out of pocket. This is disclosed in the checkout terms they accept.

If the event is cancelled

Every delegate receives the same partial refund. The platform retains all accumulated holding fees, and no settlement is paid to you. Supplier commitments you have already made remain yours to resolve directly.

If the event under-sells

Suppliers are paid from collected funds as far as those funds go. Any balance is owed by you, off-platform, directly to the supplier. The admin fee falls away, but the holding fees already collected are retained.

Before you publish an event, a modal asks you to confirm in writing that you understand a holding fee is retained on every ticket sold, that you are responsible for paying suppliers in full, and that the platform does not absorb losses on shortfall, refunds or cancellation. You cannot publish without it.
